The Juans are ready to cross over to new paths with the release of their latest album, titled TAWID.

The newly released record features a total of ten original tracks, including the two previously released singles, “Ano Ba Talaga Tayo?” and “Ako Na Lang.” The album sees the group, composed of Carl Guevarra, RJ Cruz, Japs Mendoza, and Chael Adriano, embarking on a cohesive journey that tackles themes of infatuation, letting go, and moving on through love’s various stages. The band’s pop-rock sensibilities allow for a welcome, if moody, accompaniment to the record’s vulnerable themes, giving fans and listeners a narrative that’s easy to become immersed in.

Just a few days before the full album’s release, The Juans also dropped a cinematic music video for “Ako Na Lang,” which starred Pinoy Big Brother‘s Brent Manalo and Esnyr Ranollo, alongside the band themselves. Directed and edited by Kris Cazin, the visualizer tells the story of a blossoming romance between two high school students. Check it out below:

TAWID marks the second full-length album from The Juans, following the release of their debut album Liwanag back in 2022, their eponymous EP in 2015, and Umaga from 2018. The newly released record also features guest contributions from Rhodessa and Janine Berdin.
