Set to be the biggest and most prestigious celebration of Filipino music in the country, the first-ever Filipino Music Awards
(FMAs) is taking the stage. Happening on October 21, 2025 at the SM Mall Of Asia Arena, the event will will gather the nation’s most prominent artists, industry trailblazers, and passionate music fans for a historic evening that honors and recognizes the best and brightest of OPM.
Presented by Modern Media Group Inc. — home to prestigious global titles like Billboard Philippines, Rolling Stone Philippines, Nylon Manila, and Robb Report Philippines — and produced by AGC Power Holdings Corp., the inaugural FMAs will feature 20 awards across 5 major categories* meant to recognize the artists, songwriters, producers, and creative visionaries who are not only releasing hits but are shaping culture, inspiring generations, and elevating the sound of the nation.
Award winners will be determined by both public voting and an esteemed panel of judges who will decide based on a combination of metric success and artistic excellence. Taking into consideration both artistic merit and cultural impact, the FMAs is positioning itself to be the highest honor in Filipino music to date.
But the night is not just about accolades, it’s a full-scale celebration of Filipino creativity and sound. The FMAs is also set to host 7 unforgettable performances that embody the excellence of Filipino artistry and brings together generations of local music on one stage.
