The Dawn are gearing up for their 40th anniversary as a band with a special concert titled Almost 40.
While their official 40th anniversary later on in 2026, the iconic Filipino rock band made the announcement on their official social media platforms, sharing the concert’s date of February 22, 2025 (Saturday), 8 PM at the Music Museum in San Juan, Greenhills. Tickets to the show are priced at Php 1,500 for the Balcony, Php 2,500 for the Orchestra Side, and Php 4,500 for the Orchestra Center section, and can be purchased via TicketWorld here.
Just recently, The Dawn released their first Christmas song, titled “Maki-Pasko“, last November 29, 2024 –– which served as their first single following their signing under Sony Music Philippines. Following their signing under the renowned record label, the group also teased the release of more music this year, stating “We are currently preparing to release more songs in 2025.”
“I’ve experienced holidays away from my family, so I drew from that personal experience when writing the lyrics. The song speaks to those moments of solitude and the desire to be with someone during the festive season,” said guitarist Francis Reyes of their latest track.
Since their debut in 1985, the group has continued to achieve new milestones in their career –– with new heights to conquer as The Dawn continues.
