The Dare Debuts Deluxe Album ‘What’s Wrong With New York?: Afters’
The fresh edition of the record adds three new songs to the existing ten-song tracklist.

The fresh edition of the record adds three new songs to the existing ten-song tracklist: “Cheeky,” “LCA,” and “I Can’t Escape Myself.”

The Dare (also known as Harrison Patrick Smith) debuted “LCA” and “I Can’t Escape Myself” as two separate pre-release singles prior to the premiere of the deluxe album last April 4 and May 9 respectively. What’s Wrong With New York? follows the release of his first-ever extended play, The Sex EP, on May 19, 2023.
Smith previously made music under the name of Turtlenecked, and is best known for his viral track, “Girls.” Highly-regarded as one of the pioneers of the indie sleaze revival, he’s also well-known for having produced Charli XCX’s “Guess” on her GRAMMY-winning album, BRAT.
