The Cab are finally making their long-awaited return to the Philippines at the end of this year. The news was announced by organizer Playback Music Festival on May 23, 2025 (Friday), revealing that the American pop rock is set to hold a concert in Manila this December 13, 2025 (Saturday) at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.

The upcoming show will serve as The Cab’s first time in the Philippines since 2012, when they performed on multiple occasions in Manila. This notably includes opening for Maroon 5 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on September 18, 2012. The show was part of Maroon 5’s world tour in support of their album Overexposed.

The Cab’s return to Manila also notably follows their hiatus from 2015 to 2019, before the band officially returned in 2020 and began teasing new music. They will be holding their comeback performances this October 18 to 19, 2025 at the When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada in the United States. They will be sharing the stage with Panic! At The Disco, Blink-182, Weezer, Avril Lavigne, The Offspring, All Time Low, and more.

Tickets to The Cab’s upcoming Manila concert are priced from PHP 2,900 to PHP 8,000 and will be available starting June 7, 2025 (Saturday) at 11:00 AM (PHT) via TicketNet. VIP A tickets will include access to soundcheck, while SVIP tickets will include the same, as well as a special meet-and-greet opportunity with The Cab.

Formed in 2004, The Cab are best known for such hits as “Angel With a Shotgun,” “One of THOSE Nights,” “La La,” “Stand Up,” and more. Their latest release is their EP Lock Me Up, which came out more than ten years ago on April 29, 2014. It notably saw the band embrace a more dance and electro-pop sound with hints of R&B, differentiated from their earlier pop rock and pop-punk sound.
