Tanya Ramos, also known as Tanya, makes her debut in the P-pop scene as a solo artist with the single, “Daweyosey.”
As the daughter of Filipino actor Wendell Ramos, Tanya steps away to build a name for herself through her passion for music. Before pursuing music, she had already begun to make a mark as a rising young actress and singer in television and digital content projects.
“Daweyosey” is a dreamy, Afro R&B-inspired track that blends storytelling with infectious rhythms. “I want my music to make people feel understood, inspired, and free,” Tanya shares in an official press release. “I want people to connect with the emotions behind the songs while also enjoying the music and having fun dancing to it.”
Currently a Marketing Management major at De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde, Tanya continues to balance her studies with her burgeoning career in the entertainment industry.
The song, written by Chris Domingsil and Rose Agosto and produced by Chriilz and Kiddo Chris, comes from a place of quiet longing and reflects love after it has already faded. It invites listeners to picture vivid memories — late nights, rainy streets, and music playing on an old car radio — while reflecting on unanswered “what ifs.”
Additionally, it captures the innocence and emotional attachment formed during high school or college, and the people who stay with us for so long that they become memories.
Along with the release of the track is the official music video produced by YouMeUs, the creative team behind music videos for some of the Philippines’ biggest artists.
“Daweyosey” reminds us that love, in its different forms, doesn’t truly disappear — instead, it learns to live quietly within us.
