Filipino folk and world music band Talahib (Talahib People’s Music) are celebrating their 25th year with a special anniversary concert, ‘TALAHIB 25,’ on November 30, 2025, at the historic Baluarte de San Diego in Intramuros.
Produced by Blackstar Entertainment and presented by Talahib in partnership with the Intramuros Administration — with WWF-Philippines as the official beneficiary partner — the concert will revisit the band’s musical journey through refreshed arrangements, signature pieces, and performances that highlight their artistry and collective chemistry.
Marking this silver milestone, lead guitarist Burn Belacho shares how the upcoming celebration honors the group’s growth and longevity. “For us, Talahib has always been about expression and connection,” Belacho shares. “Every performance is a shared experience — with each other and with the audience. Reaching 25 years feels surreal, and playing in a historical venue makes the celebration even more special.”
Formed in 2000, Talahib have been part of the local music scene for over 25 years, blending indigenous instruments, folk sounds, and contemporary world-music influences into their signature style. Through the years, the group has showcased its talent and artistry at various cultural festivals, art spaces, and major stages both in the Philippines and abroad.
General admission tickets are priced at PHP 1,000 and include access to merchandise. VIP tickets are priced at PHP 3,000 and include access to merchandise, the VIP area, and a free souvenir card. Tickets are available here.
