After nearly a year-long hiatus, syd hartha has just come out with her latest single, “ako naman muna,” a warm and bright bossa nova piece with her signature folk feel. In the caption of her post announcing the fresh track, the singer-songwriter shared the core message of the song: “Gusto mo ba talaga o takot ka lang na mag-isa?” (Do you really like me, or are you just scared of being alone?)

This is syd hartha’s first major musical drop of the year, following the release of “damdamin!” on November 22, 2024.
