syd hartha is releasing a new single this month, entitled “ako naman muna.”

The Filipino folk-pop singer-songwriter announced the news last October 31, 2025 through a video featuring a snippet of the track, revealing that the song is set to come out on November 7, 2025 (Friday). The snippet reveals the song to feature laidback, acoustic guitar-driven instrumentals, coupled with lyrics that seemingly tackle putting oneself first after experiencing love laced with ambiguity and secrecy.

“ako naman muna” is syd hartha’s first release of 2025 and her first release in nearly a year. It follows her previous single, entitled “damdamin!” which came out last November 22, 2024. Additionally, it also follows her cover of the Apo Hiking Society hit “Panalangin,” which she released on July 17, 2024.
