SUYEN is releasing a new single at the end of this month, entitled “Katabi.”
The Filipino indie rock artist announced the news on October 25, 2025 (Saturday), revealing that the upcoming song is set to come out on Halloween, October 31, 2025 (Friday).

“Katabi” is the follow-up to “basura,” SUYEN’s collaboration single with Filipino rock veterans Sandwich, which came out on June 6, 2025. Additionally, the upcoming single also follows her debut EP Suyen Imnida, which was also released earlier this year on January 17, 2025.

In other news, SUYEN and Sandwich’s “basura” was nominated for Alternative Song of the Year at the first ever Filipino Music Awards. The music awards show’s first iteration was held last October 21, 2025 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Meanwhile, SUYEN organized a Halloween gig, dubbed ‘SAN MAY MUMU?,’ last October 24, 2025 at Kowloon House Matalino Street in Quezon City. A joint production between Musubi and Kailan Saan, the show saw SUYEN share the stage with Imago, ONE CLICK STRAIGHT, SHANNi, Fitterkarma, Gio, and Chinese Garden.
