This November 21, rising Filipino femcee SHNTI is set to release a new track entitled “hot pursuit.” Furthermore, the artist announced she would soon be debuting an album — the title and release date of the new record have yet to be announced; watch this space for updates.

This would be the artist’s first-ever full-length album, following her debut EP ELMNT, which was dropped on October 2022. The six-track record includes collaborative pieces with fellow LIAB Studios artists like Billboard Philippines’ Pinoy Hip-Hop Mixtape 2025 representative Waiian and up-and-coming act Yorko.

This follows her recent release with fellow Filipino hip-hop act Zae, “BWYB” (which stands for “break up with your boyfriend”), for which they also premiered a music video — read more about it here. The song tackles heteronormativity over a funky and catchy beat.

Based in Quezon City, SHNTI is an up-and-coming force in the Philippine underground scene, signed with independent hip-hop label LIAB Studios. In early 2021, she made her official debut with the track “U Don’t” with collaborators NAMA and Mara Torres.
