KEY is back with a brand new album, entitled HUNTER. First announced on July 20 2025, the SHINee member’s new record was released on August 11, 2025 (Monday).
Consisting of a total of ten tracks, HUNTER notably sees two songs with features from other artists. The first of these is “Infatutation,” which sees KEY team up with EUNHO of virtual South Korean boy group PLAVE, serving as the sixth track of the record. The second one is the album’s ninth track “Perfect Error,” where KEY teams up with SEULGI of K-pop girl group Red Velvet.
In addition to this, the album’s third track “Strange” is notably co-composed and co-written by singer-songwriter Jae Park, best known by his stage name eaJ. “An honor to be a part of a [KEY] record!,” stated eaJ in a post on his Instagram. “It all started with me singing a SHINee song at a small K-pop convention in 2007, so this means a lot to me.”

HUNTER serves as KEY’s third full-length album as a solo artist, following his sophomore album Gasoline, which came out on August 30, 2022. Notably, Gasoline was followed by a repackaged version, dubbed Killer, which was released months later on February 13, 2023.
In other news, SHINee released their first single album entitled Poet | Artist earlier this year on May 25, 2025, in celebration of their 17th anniversary as a group. Notably, the title track was written by former member Jonghyun prior to his passing in late 2017 and shares its name with Jonghyun’s second and final studio album, which came out posthumously on January 23, 2018.
Meanwhile, KEY was previously in Manila more than three years ago on May 2022 as part of the ‘Begin Again: KPOP Edition’ concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. Marking his first time performing in the Philippines as a solo artist, he shared the stage with fellow K-pop acts NCT DREAM, WEi, and ALICE.
