Secondhand Serenade is officially coming back to the Philippines later this year for two special shows. The news was announced by the American pop rock act — the solo project of musician John Vesely — on August 30, 2025 (Saturday), revealing that the band will be holding concerts in both Davao and Manila this December 2025.

Presented by Playback Music Festival and Super Awesome Marketing, the two shows are notably part of ‘A Secondhand Symphony’ — the band’s tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Secondhand Serenade’s debut album Awake. Initially released on October 27, 2005 and re-released on February 6, 2007 with two new songs, the record notably contains such hit tracks as “Your Call,” “Vulnerable,” “Awake,” and more.

The Davao concert is set to happen on December 11, 2025 (Thursday) at the SMX Convention Center Davao in Davao City. Tickets to this show are priced from PHP 1,490 to PHP 4,800 and will be available starting September 6, 2025 (Saturday) at 11:00 AM (PHT) via Ticketmelon.

Meanwhile, the Manila show will be held on December 14, 2025 (Sunday) at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. Tickets to this concert are priced from PHP 1,950 to PHP 5,390 and will be available beginning on September 6, 2025 (Saturday) at 11:00 AM (PHT) via TicketNet.

Additionally, meet-and-greet packages will be sold separately later on, with only VIP and Gold ticketholders being eligible for purchase.

These two shows follow Secondhand Serenade’s previous time in the Philippines earlier this year on May 9 and 10, 2025, when the band performed in Manila and Cebu, respectively, as part of the lineup of ‘Playback Music Festival: Punk, Rock, & Emo.’ They shard the stage with Boys Like Girls and The Click Five.

Additionally, the upcoming Davao and Manila concerts will also follow Secondhand Serenade’s previous solo Manila concert last August 30, 2024 at the New Frontier Theater. It was held as part of the band’s 2024 Asia tour.
