Josh Cullen is releasing a new music video this month.
On December 6, 2024, the SB19 rapper and singer announced that he is set to premiere a music video for his TikTok-viral single “1999.” Alongside a short teaser, he revealed that it is set to be released this December 13, 2024 (Friday).
Released last September 4, 2024, “1999” serves as the fourth single from Josh Cullen’s debut solo album Lost & Found. In an exclusive, in-depth track-by-track guide with Billboard Philippines, the “Wild Tonight” hitmaker revealed that the song was inspired a coping mechanism of biting his tongue that he developed during his childhood due to abuse he experienced. “…‘Yung biting my tongue was to relieve my anxiety. Doon ko na-realize na I didn’t know what anxiety was during that time pero anxiety pala lahat ‘yun (Biting my tongue was to relieve my anxiety. That’s when I realized that I didn’t know what anxiety was during that time but that was actually all anxiety).”
In other news, Josh Cullen recently collaborated with girl group H1-KEY for a reimagined version fo the K-pop quartet’s heartfelt ballad “Thinkin’ About You.” Meanwhile, the SB19 member concluded additional legs of his ‘Lost & Found’ concert series, performing in Cebu as well as in Dubai and Hong Kong.
