Fourteen years after teaming up for the “Lego House” music video, Harry Potter star Rupert Grint reunites with Ed Sheeran in the music video for “A Little More.” But this time, for stranger reasons.
As part of his upcoming eighth studio album, Play, “A Little More” serves as an upbeat pop track, led by Sheeran’s endearing vocals, sharp lyricism, and its message of moving on and staying true to oneself.
On Instagram, Sheeran shared a photo with the British star, recreating the iconic Spider-Man meme.
The two, who share strikingly similar looks, first teamed up for Sheeran’s 2011 music video for “Lego House.” In the music video directed by Emil Nava, Grint plays an obsessed fan and doppelgänger who is constantly mistaken for the “Bad Habits” singer. Years later, Nava reunites with Sheeran to direct the music video for “A Little More,” which picks up where “Lego House” left off.
Grint’s character, now released from prison, tries to live a normal life, but the tables have turned. Now, it’s Sheeran who keeps appearing wherever he goes. He meets his future wife, played by Nathalie Emmanuel (Game of Thrones, Furious 7), but on their wedding day, Grint’s character stands at the altar, only to see Sheeran.
The track follows “Sapphire,” released last June, and appears on Play, which releases on September 12. The album also features the previously released singles “Azizam” and “Old Phone.”
