Today (May 9, 2025), ROSÉ came out with a pre-release single to the upcoming F1 movie soundtrack, entitled “Messy.” In the caption of her post announcing the song’s release, the K-pop icon wrote, “So, this is my first time working on a movie soundtrack, and I am so extremely honored and excited beyond imagination to be a part of this incredible movie.”

As almost to celebrate the song’s release, ROSÉ was seen providing the chequered flag (signalling the finale of the race) for the F1 Miami Grand Prix last May 4.

The F1 movie is set to make its highly anticipated premiere on June 27. Directed by Joseph Kosinski (best known for Top Gun: Maverick), the film will feature Hollywood stars Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, and a number of cameos from the current roster of F1 drivers. On the soundtrack for the movie, ROSÉ will be joined by fellow international hitmakers like Ed Sheeran, Tate McRae, and more. Pre-save F1 The Album here.
