For this holiday season, Rob Deniel is giving a gift in the form of a new single entitled “Kalawakan.” The track, released yesterday (December 1, 2025), was produced in the prestigious The Kennel Songwriting Workshop, an international music camp that gathers top-tier producers and emerging artists to create globally competitive music.
It’s been noted that not only have Rob Deniel and Amiel Sol contributed to the writing and production of the new track, but Bruce Wiegner (Katy Perry), Josh Gabbard (Big Time Rush, Benny Benassi), and Jean-Paul Verona (Ben&Ben) have also contributed to the piece.
In an official press release, it was shared that, “Once again, Rob dives deep into his dreamy, retro-inspired sound — this time adding a cosmic twist. With mellow guitars, airy synth layers, and his signature falsetto leading the way, “Kalawakan” creates a floating sensation, like drifting through the stars with someone who never leaves your thoughts. Its blend of modern romanticism and vintage charm paints an intimate yet expansive portrait of a love that stretches beyond time and space.”
Furthermore, the new song serves as part of the official soundtrack of the second season of Ang Mutya Ng Section E (The Dark Side).
In related news, Rob Deniel currently holds four spots on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 (dated November 29, 2025). Here, he holds the No. 9 spot for “Nandito Ako,” No. 39 for “Ikaw Sana,” No. 44 for “Wala Na Bang Pag-Ibig,” and No. 86 for “Romcom.” Check out the full Chart here.
