On August 3, 2025, it was announced by SM Entertainment that Red Velvet’s lead vocalist Joy is set to come out with her first-ever mini album entitled From JOY, with Love. The record is scheduled for release on August 18, and pre-orders and pre-saving are available through this link. While the full tracklist and additional details have yet to be released, one of the song’s titles has been revealed to be “Love Splash.”
From JOY, with Love marks Joy’s first mini album as a solo artist, after dropping a number of singles in the past. She first made her solo debut in 2021 with her first original single “Je T’aime” before the premiere of her special album Hello in May of the same year. The album’s title track soon went viral for its upbeat bubblegum pop beat and its catchy rhythm.
In related news, the artist’s fellow Red Velvet members Seulgi and Irene have recently come out with a mini album TILT, released on May 26, 2025, marking their first comeback as a sub-unit in five years since their debut with Monster in 2020.
