ReVeluvs, rejoice!
Irene and Seulgi are set to make a grand return to the Philippines very soon, as they were just announced to be part of the upcoming IAM K-POP concert this March.
The news was announced by IAM LIVE, wherein they stated that the iconic duo was set to join the star-studded lineup of what has been touted as the “biggest K-pop event of the year,” which is set to take place this March 29, 2025, at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. Alongside the beloved Red Velvet duo, rising six-piece group RIIZE and Filipino group HORI7ON are also set to take the stage.
Irene and Seulgi first debuted as their own sub-unit in 2020 with their smash-hit single “Monster” — while they’ve also pursued their own solo careers, with Seulgi dropping her first mini-album 28 Reasons back in 2022, and Irene dropping her first mini-album Like A Flower last November 2024.
Together alongside fellow Red Velvet members Wendy, Joy, and Yeri, the group has spawned countless chart-topping hits, including “Happiness,” “Psycho,” “Cosmic,” “Bad Boy,” and a whole lot more. Just recently, the full group visited Manila last September 2024 for their fan concert, My, Dear ReVe1uv Fancon Tour, which took place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, while Irene, Seulgi, and Wendy helped in ushering the new year last 2023 for Ayala’s NYE at the 5th event in Bonifacio Global City.
