Electronic artist Porter Robinson is heading to Manila this December.

The “Shelter” producer is set to perform at the Podium Hall, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City on December 8. The announcement arrived today (April 26) when he shared dates for the North American, Australian, Asian, European, and South American legs of the tour. Pre-sale will start on Tuesday (April 30). Ticket prices and other details have yet to be announced. Interested attendees can RSVP for updates on ticket sales here.

Robinson is best known for his tracks “Shelter,” “Goodbye To A World,” “Look At The Sky,” and “Everything Goes On.” Two of his songs have landed spots on the Billboard 200 chart. His first charting song was “Worlds,” which peaked at the No. 18 spot in 2014. Robinson’s “Nurture” debuted at the No. 52 spot on the charts in 2021. He was ranked seventh on Billboard’s 21 under 21 list in 2012.

In the spiel for his recognition, Kerri Mason wrote, “This year, Porter Robinson was carried by the momentum of his 2011 tours with early mentors Tiesto and Skrillex to become a headlining star in his own right. He sold out solo nightclub dates, and continues to creep up the festival ladder (from side tent, to late afternoon main stage sets), while making music that hints at a change in direction. He released the ooey-gooey trance vocal track “Language” on Big Beat in April, stepping away from his brazenly bombastic debut, “Spitfire,” on Skrillex’s Owsla last year. The young star is about to hit the road with another production prodigy, Zedd, on the 15-date Poseidon Tour. One thing’s sure: If its co-headliners’ feeds are any indication, it will be the most Tweeted-about EDM tour in history.”

Earlier this week, he dropped a twin single release titled Knock Yourself Out XD. The release includes the title track and the previously released “Cheerleader.”
