It is finally time to spin some new music from indie-alternative pop band Over October as they are releasing a new single this April.
On April 5, the quintet announced through their social media the release of their latest single “Ikot” (Spin). It is set to come out this April 12 and can be pre-saved here. The new track follows the release of their song “123” which came out last October 2023.
The announcement of the new song came with a cover art reveal featuring frontman Josh Buizon going up a spiral staircase. The band credits Ben&Ben percussionists Toni Muñoz and Andrew de Pano as well as long-time Ben&Ben photographer Karen de la Fuente with the photo.
Formed in October of 2014, Over October is composed of frontman Josh Buizon on vocals and acoustic guitar, Janessa Geronimo on drums and vocals, Joric Canlas on bass, and Joshua Lua and Anton Rodriguez on guitars. They are known for their tracks such as “Ating Dalawa”, “Wait”, “Intertwine” with The Ridleys, “Never Stop”, and more. Most recently, the band held their second ever meet-up with their fans, dubbed the “Octobears”, last March 23 at the University of the Philippines Diliman.
