Over October are coming back with brand-new single, entitled “Bitin.” The “Ikot” hitmakers officially announced the forthcoming song on April 6, 2025 (Sunday), stating that the track will be released soon. Watch this space for updates for when it is set to come out.

The alternative pop quintet revealed the news through a short video snippet of them playing the emotional track live for the first time last April 5, 2025 (Saturday) at the 2025 edition of UP Fair: REV. “New song para sa mga nagkagusto sa isa’t isa pero hindi pinagtagpo ng tadhana (New song for those who fell in love with each other but fate didn’t allow their paths to cross),” stated the band in the announcement.

“Bitin” serves as Over October’s first release of 2025 and their first release since their sophomore album Make Believe, which came out last October 1, 2024. The full-length record notably carries their chart-breaking viral single “Ikot,” as well as other fan favorite tracks like “Kaakit-Akit,” “123,” and more. Notably, alongside a number of other merchandise, the band released the album on CD in collaboration with Backspacer Records.

In addition, the quintet celebrated the album’s release through their first ever solo concert, dubbed ‘Ikot sa Music Museum.’ It was held last October 4 and 12, 2024 at the Music Museum in Greenhills, San Juan City. Both dates were officially sold out.
