ONE OR EIGHT have joined forces with pH-1 for a remix of their latest single.

On February 4, 2025 (Tuesday), the rising Japanese boy group released a brand new version of their hit single “KAWASAKI,” teaming up with South Korean rapper pH-1. This follows the track’s previous edition, which saw ONE OR EIGHT collaborating with GRAMMY-nominated American rapper Big Sean, released last December 6, 2024.

“When I first heard ‘KAWASAKI’, I felt like, ‘[O]mg (sic), [I]’m gonna spit some things on this track right away,” stated pH-1 in a press statement, sharing his sentiments about working with ONE OR EIGHT. “I think each member of ONE OR EIGHT raps with natural swag that’s genuine, and so I’m excited to be part of this track as an artist.”

“KAWASAKI” initially served as ONE OR EIGHT’s pre-debut track, which attained the No. 1 spot on Billboard Japan‘s Heatseekers Songs chart. Following its release last June 2024, the track’s performance video went viral on YouTube and gained 10 million views within the first ten days. Watch it below:

ONE OR EIGHT debuted last August 16, 2024 and is composed of members MIZUKI, NEO, REIA, RYOTA, SOUMA, TAKERU, TSUBASA, and YUGA.
