As a special surprise for her fans, Olivia Rodrigo is set to release the four bonus tracks from her latest record GUTS on a limited-edition vinyl exclusive to Record Store Day’s 2023 Black Friday celebration this upcoming November 24.
The songs included on GUTS: The Secret Tracks are “obsessed”, “stranger”, “scared of my guitar”, and “girl i’ve always been” –– with all four tracks pressed onto one side of an opaque deep purple 12-inch disc. On the opposite side of the disc, the record features a special decorative etching of Rodrigo’s signature butterfly emblem that adds to the record’s collectible nature.

Limited to only 7,500 copies worldwide, this exclusive release was manufactured by Jack White’s Third Man Records and pressed at their headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee. Rodrigo herself is an avid fan of White and his work, particularly referencing him as one of her mentors while recording GUTS, according to Consequence of Sound.

This also marks the first time that all bonus tracks have been packaged into one release, as each track was previously exclusive to its own specific and individual vinyl variants for GUTS’ physical release. The majority of these vinyl variants were exclusively available to Rodrigo’s official webstore, with each variant being pressed on four different colorways to mark the respective difference in which hidden track was included.
Fans looking to get their copy of the record will have to queue in line at any affiliated record store participating in RSD’s festivities, or they can wait for the leftover stock to be posted online afterward. Currently, none of the four bonus tracks from GUTS are officially available on any digital platforms despite incessant demand from Rodrigo’s fanbase.
