Indonesian girl group and up-and-coming global sensation no na have just released their latest single “the one” under 88rising Records. The track adds an ’80s synth pop spin on the typical girl group sound, uniquely unveiling the four-piece’s charms. Furthermore, the group has just premiered the music video for the fresh track.
An official press release reveals, “In the ‘the one’ music video, no na step into a dazzling retro universe, dialing up a psychic hotline in search of their destined match. The concept comes to life in a whirlwind of 1980s TV aesthetics (analog screens and tongue-in-cheek infomercial flair). Between the group’s sleek choreography, playful on-camera chemistry, and the video’s nostalgic, late-night-TV charm, ‘the one’ delivers a vibrant visual experience that’s equal parts camp, charisma, and irresistible pop fantasy.”

This would be no na’s fifth major musical release for the year, following their single “sad face :(,” which was dropped last August 29.
Composed of members Baila, Shaz, Christy, and Esther, no na is a four-piece girl group under 88rising, geared to represent the cultural and regional diversity of Indonesia. Additionally, the group seeks to empower modern femininity through their music, which leans into a blend of genres like R&B and pop.
