Time to get very emotional once again as NIKI is returning with new music.

On April 25, the “Oceans & Engines” hitmaker surprised her followers when she announced via her social media that she would be releasing a new single this May. Prior to this, she posted two different images on her social media with the captions “Well, I don’t believe in mistakes…” and “I get the feeling that you’re something that will surely go wrong”, seemingly teasing the new track ahead of its release.

Entitled “Too Much Of A Good Thing”, this comes as her 2nd single of 2024, following January’s “24” – an ode to the Indonesian singer-songwriter’s early 20’s. “On the 24th of January I’ll be turning 25, so before that particular birthday I thought I’d release a song I wrote in an attempt to synthesize my early twenties, and the many humbling things I have learned up to this point. she stated on a post on her social media. In another post, she describes it as “probably the most meaningful song I’ve written thus far.”

NIKI was previously in the Philippines for her sold-out first ever solo concert in Manila last September 13, 2023. It was held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena as part of her world tour in support of Nicole, her sophomore album. Before this, she headlined day 2 of the first Manila iteration of 88rising’s Head In The Clouds music festival in late 2022.

The new single will be out this coming May 3. You may pre-save the track here.
