“Hello, this is ADOR.
HAERIN and HYEIN of NewJeans have decided to continue their activities with ADOR.
After thoughtful consideration with their respective families and thorough discussions with ADOR, the two members have decided to respect the court’s latest ruling and adhere to their exclusive contract with the label.
ADOR is committed to providing its full support to HAERIN and HYEIN to ensure the seamless continuation of their artistic endeavors. We request the warm support from the fans and respectfully urge you to avoid engaging in unfounded speculation regarding the members.

Following the latest court ruling from the South Korean government, NewJeans were mandated to remain with ADOR as the Seoul Central District Court rejected their appeal to terminate their contract and agreement with the label in an effort to pursue independent activities. Though none of the group’s five members were present in court, all of them have been ordered to bear the litigation costs of the legal dispute — with the total amount not disclosed to the public.
In response to the court ruling, legal representatives from the NewJeans team previously shared, “While the members respect the court’s decision, it is impossible to return to ADOR and continue normal entertainment activities under the current situation where the trust relationship with ADOR has already been completely broken.”
