The queen is back! Nadine Lustre makes her music comeback with “Personal,” released via Cool Girl Records.

The track marks her first solo release in more than three years, following “Overgrown” in June 2023.

“Personal” focuses on Lustre leaning into her confident side and unapologetically embracing her own narrative without letting the opinions of others get in the way.

“Keep on gunnin’ for me, won’t take it personal / Go talk that talk bout me acting like you’re in control / Can’t get under my skin, won’t take it personal / Personal, won’t take it personal,” Lustre sings in the chorus.

The release demonstrates Lustre’s continued evolution as an artist. In 2020, she released her acclaimed debut album, Wildest Dreams, under Careless Music. The record fuses R&B, alt-pop, and electronic influences while exploring themes of self-love and healing. It was later accompanied by a visual album that brought its songs to life.
