For her latest music video, mrld has delved into themes of light-hearted, feel-good romance with the track “Malayo.” Starring Filipino actress and TV personality Xyriel Manabat, the video follows the narrative of mrld playing a lovestruck pickleball player gathering courage to speak to their crush playing in another court.
On the caption of her post announcing the new music video, mrld said, “Thank you so much to everyone who made this possible. Maraming salamat idolo (Thank you, my idol), Xyriel Manabat, for accepting this project.” As a conclusion, she wrote, “At sa lahat ng naging part sa pag shoot nito, maraming salamat sa effort and for showing up that day (And to everyone who was part of this shoot, thank you very much for the effort and for showing up that day).”
