Asia’s Phoenix is set to join Norwegian-British boy band A1 for their upcoming Cebu Concert.
Today (January 6), it was announced that Morissette would be starring in the highly-anticipated Cebu leg of A1’s Valentine’s Tour on February 14 in the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino. With this crusade, the iconic 90’s boyband are scheduled to visit key cities to bring their signature charm and beloved hits like “Like a Rose” and “Heaven By Your Side.”
Four years ago, Morissette and A1 collaborated virtually on a special duet version of the group’s smash hit “Like a Rose.” Aiming to bring the magic of this viral sensation to a live audience, A1’s romantic pop tracks will be accompanied by Morissette’s powerful vocals.
In an official press release, the boy band shared the sentiment, “Collaborating with Morissette during the pandemic was such a special experience for us. We are incredibly excited to share the stage with her for the first time in Cebu. Filipino fans are some of the most passionate in the world, and we can’t wait to bring this moment to life.” Additionally, the artist herself detailed, “It’s truly an honour to perform with A1, a band I’ve admired for years. Singing with them during the pandemic was a dream, and I’m thrilled to finally share this collaboration live with our amazing fans in Cebu.”
A1 are also making a two-night stop in the New Frontier Theater, Quezon City for their Valentine’s Tour from February 15 to 16.
