Mojofly are officially heading to Japan next year.

The Filipino alternative rock band announced that they are holding a show in Tokyo soon, set to happen on April 4, 2026 (Saturday). It will be held at Gamuso in the Asagaya area of the Suginami Ward. Tickets to the show are priced at JPY 5,000 (Early Bird) and JPY 6,000 (Regular) each and are now available via Peatix.

The upcoming show is set to be organized by Japan-based Filipino live events organizer Pintig Productions. It is best known for having brought other Filipino acts such as The Itchyworms, Barbie Almalbis, Mayonnaise, SUD, Autotelic, Squid9, and more over to Japan.

As of December 9, 2025 (Tuesday), the Mojofly show is set to be the fourth 2026 Tokyo show of a Filipino act organized by Pintig Productions. The first one will be funk-pop band Lola Amour’s Japan stop of their ongoing ‘Around The World’ tour in January, followed by a yet-to-be-announced act for February and pop rock veterans Silent Sanctuary in March.

In other news, Mojofly’s latest release is their single “Baterya.” It came out on August 23, 2024 via Yellow Room Music Philippines.

Formed in 1999, Mojofly currently consists of vocalist and guitarist Lougee Basabas, drummer Ali Alejandro, bassist Mark Reese Gelbolingo, keyboardist Kiko Montecillo, and guitarist Beejay Valera. They are best known for such hits as “Mata,” “Tumatakbo,” “Mula Noon,” “Kung Sakali,” and more. Their latest studio album, entitled Mula Noon, was released on March 31, 2019.
