K-pop group MEOVV have just released their debut extended play, titled MY EYES OPEN VVIDE.

Featuring production and contributions from renowned K-pop hitmakers Teddy “TEDDY” Park, Kush, 24, Vince, IDO, and Dominsuk, alongside international hitmakers like Claudia Valentina, Zikai, Billy Walsh, Jumpa, Malachiii, Tommy Brown, Theron Thomas, and more, the EP explores a variety of sounds that range from pop, electronic, R&B, and more.

The newly released record showcases a total of six tracks, including the previously released singles “Meow,” “Toxic,” and “Body” –– as well as the pre-release track “Hands Up,” the lead track “Drop Top,” and the B-side “Lit Right Now.”

MEOVV first debuted back in September of last year under The Black Label and introduced themselves to the world with their debut single, “Meow.” The group comprises members Sooin, Anna, Ella, Gawon and Narin –– with the latter two co-writing half the songs on the record, such as “Toxic”, “Drop Top”, and “Lit Right Now.” It’s also worth noting that the group’s creative and sonic direction is being overseen by Teddy Park, considering his role as the founder of The Black Label and his hand in personally selecting each member of the group.

Since their debut last year, MEOVV has continued to gain traction within both the Korean and Western music scene, having taken home “Favorite Rising Artist” at the 2024 MAMA Awards.
