The tour announcement follows the recent news of M2M’s reunion, which saw Marit Larsen and Marion Raven reunite after a twenty-two-year hiatus as a duo. They reunited last month on September 22, 2024, and sang their beloved hit song, “The Day You Went Away.” They first came into prominence in the late ’90s with their debut single “Don’t Say You Love Me,” which was released in 1999 to both critical and commercial acclaim.

Their debut album, Shades of Purple, was released in 2000, while their follow-up The Big Room was released a year later in 2001. In 2003, a greatest hits compilation album titled The Day You Went Away: The Best of M2M was released following their disbandment.
