Linya-Linya Land is coming back this year.

On October 28, Linya-Linya announced the return of Linya-Linya Land — the local clothing brand’s very own annual festival that is described as featuring “wavemakers in music, comedy, and performance art, meaningfully curated to welcome new and mainstay concertgoers alike.”

Linya-Linya Land 2024 follows the last iteration held on August 26, 2023, which took place at 123 Block in Mandaluyong City. For the music side of things, the lineup of artists this year will feature bands Lola Amour, Over October, Cheats, and Oh, Flamingo!; singer-songwriter Unique Salonga; and rappers KJah, Mhot, and Apoc. Meanwhile, improv and comedy will be provided by SPIT Manila, GB Labrador, James Caraan, Nonong Ballinan, Ryan Rems, and Muman Reyes of The KoolPals, and Comedy Manila’s Victor Anastacio and Issa Villaverde.

A brand new addition to this year’s festival is a drag performance courtesy of drag queen Tita Baby of Ru Paul’s Drag Race Philippines Season 3 fame.

According to a press statement, “at the heart of this event is Linya-Linya’s advocacy of supporting homegrown artists and performers while amplifying the local art and creative industry’s voice — where it has put down its roots for nearly 10 years. Ultimately, the goal of festival is to “create a space where diversity in talent and passion for social change can thrive, alongside non-profit organizations and partner communities.” This includes the likes of the Angat Buhay Foundation, AHA! Learning Center, The Learning Lab, and PANTAY.

“Celebration ito ng Filipino arts and culture mula sa iba’t ibang linya (This is a celebration of Filipino arts and culture from different lines,” states Ali Sangalang, co-founder and creative director of Linya-Linya, expressing the brand’s joy of meaningfully connecting the different art forms the festival features. “Different art forms — from music, comedy, to performance art — nagsama-sama sa iisang entablado para i-showcase ang Filipino creativity, at itulak din ang iba’t ibang adbokasiya (all coming together to share a single stage in order to showcase Filipino creativity, and to push for different advocacies).”

Alongside the expected performances, the fesitval will also feature activities curated by Linya-Linya and the event’s so-called “ambassadors of fun” — Breakout Manila, Kape-Kape, Puddy Rock Studio, and Heroes Headquarters.

Linya-Linya Land 2024 is officially set to happen on November 30 (Saturday) at 123 Block in Mandaluyong City, with gates opening at 2:00 PM. Tickets are priced at PHP 1,200 (Early Bird) or PHP 1,500 (Regular Admission) with ticketing charges to apply. They are now available here.
