Lola Amour have just released their latest single, “Dance With My Mistakes.”

The newly released single sees the beloved funk-pop group blending their signature style with a fresh set of influences, incorporating steady synth elements with their usual full-band set-up. Lola Amour may have described the song as an anthem about “trying to come back to the right person at the right time fully knowing that it might not be mutual anymore,” but it also serves its purpose as a dance floor-ready track to get your groove on to. The end result is an instantly catchy hit in the making, one that begs for more repeat listens as the days go by.

“Dance With My Mistakes” was produced by Hyuk Shin (EXO, SHINee, Justin Bieber) and Cuurley (Chuu, FELIP, Jeff Satur), both of whom have shaped its feel-good sound to showcases the band’s evolving style as they continue to make waves on the international stage. It was also co-written by the band themselves alongside SYA and Seann Bowe.

The song was first teased in a TikTok post shared late this March, which showcased the band performing the song’s chorus in a live recorded setting. The band also posted a succeeding video, which captured the moment in which they performed the track at Warner Music Philippines’ office christening which can be found here.

To celebrate the release of “Dance With My Mistakes,” Lola Amour will be performing the new song live at UP Fair on April 4, with a special performance on ASAP Natin ‘To scheduled on April 6. The group’s fans can also look forward to an upcoming series of mall shows and bar activations, wherein they can experience the new single live and up close.

Just earlier this year, Lola Amour collaborated with Australian singer-songwriter Oliver Cronin on the track “Maria,” which was included in Cronin’s newest EP, titled Edge of Paradise, Prior to the release of the track, the beloved funk-pop band released their first-ever live album, Lola Amour: The Album Concert (Live), which chronicled their live performances at the concert celebrating the release of their eponymous debut album, Lola Amour.
