Little Simz has come back, just as electric and commanding as ever in her latest musical drop. Today (February 27), the boundary-breaking femcee from the United Kingdom has debuted her long-anticipated single “Flood,” accompanied by its visualizer. In tandem with this release, the artist has also announced her upcoming album entitled LOTUS that is scheduled to premiere on May 9 this year.

On her latest single, she enlists the talents of South African electro-funk artist Moonchild Sanelly and Nigerian hitmaker Obongjayar. Simz and Obongjayar had previously worked on the hypnotic, Afro-beat infused track entitled “Point and Kill” on the former’s award-winning album, Sometimes I Might Be Introvert.
