Linkin Park are channeling their classic sound in their latest single off of From Zero.
On November 14, the nu-metal/rock icons surprise-dropped a brand-new track, entitled “Two Faced.” “We couldn’t wait any longer for you to hear this song and see the video, so here it is a little early,” the band stated in an announcement post.
The new track notably calls back to the band’s old school style and sound found in their first two albums Hybrid Theory and Meteora, characterized by rap verses from Mike Shinoda, a melodic yet hard-hitting chorus courtesy of Emily Armstrong, rhythmic and heavy guitars, and complete with signature record scratches from DJ and turntablist Joe Hahn.
“Two Faced.” serves as the fourth single from the band’s highly anticipated eighth full-length album From Zero, set to come out tomorrow, November 15 (Friday). It follows “The Emptiness Machine,” released last September 6; “Heavy Is The Crown,” released last September 24; and “Over Each Other,” released last October 24. Notably, “Heavy Is The Crown” serves as the official anthem for the 2024 League of Legends world championship, which the band performed during the opening ceremony of the competition’s finals in London last November 2.
Alongside the new single’s surprise release, Linkin Park also premiered an accompanying music video which sees the entire band rocking out in matching suits. Watch it below:
Celebrating the release day of From Zero, Linkin Park are set to perform at the Allianz Park in São Paulo, Brazil this November 15 and 16. In 2025, they are set to headline Las Vegas’ Sick New World festival on April 12, 2025 and Ohio’s Sonic Temple Festival on May 10, 2025.
