Linkin Park have just released another song off of From Zero.
On October 24, the nu-metal/rock icons released a new single, entitled “Over Each Other,” with its world premiere having happened on BBC Radio 1’s New Music Show with Jack Saunders. The band first officially announced its release last October 23 through a clip teasing the song’s music video on an electronic billboard in Times Square, New York City.
“Over Each Other” serves as the third single from the band’s forthcoming eighth studio album From Zero, set to be released on November 15. It follows “The Emptiness Machine,” released last September 6; and “Heavy Is The Crown,” released last September 24. Notably, “Heavy Is The Crown” was released as the official theme song for the 2024 League of Legends world championship.
Following the world premiere of the single on BBC Radio 1, the accompanying music video — shot in South Korea and directed by Linkin Park DJ and creative director Joe Hahn — premiered on the band’s YouTube channel. Watch it below.
In an Instagram post last October 19, Hahn revealed that the music video was shot a few nights following their show in Seoul last September 28, with him and new co-lead vocalist Emily Armstrong staying in town to do so. “It has been a dream of mine to direct a project in Korea one day and this happened!” he stated, noting how they “embraced the K-ness of it all and made it feel like a K-drama.” He then expressed his thanks to the cast, the crew, and the rest of Linkin Park. “Like always, Emily crushed the performance. I’m looking forward to sharing this with you all next Thursday.”
The band is set to continue their world tour in support of From Zero this November, including three new shows happening in Paris, Dallas, and São Paulo, with support from British progressive/alternative metal collective Sleep Token in Paris, and metal/rock quartet Bad Omens, experimental pop artist Jean Dawson, and alternative metal veterans Helmet for the Dallas concert.
