LILY have just released their latest single, titled “OSA.”
The newly released track sees the band exploring themes of heartbreak and hope, and was penned by the group’s bassist, Aaron Paul Ricafrente. Based on his personal experiences of losing a beloved pet and welcoming his third child on the same day, it’s a poignant reflection on grief and joy. “His death broke my heart, but holding my baby in my arms made me see things clearly: the love he gave me didn’t just disappear. That love is what ‘OSA’ is about. It’s not just a sad song about grief; it’s about believing that love is so strong,” said Ricafrente.
Despite the song’s personal significance to Ricafrente, it also speaks to the universal feeling of being loved completely, an aspect which is felt deeply by the whole band. “It’s about that feeling of knowing you’re not alone, even when the person isn’t with us physically. Those connections don’t come with an expiration date, they don’t come with conditions. They don’t come in when you’re high up there or at your lowest. They teach you what true, selfless commitment looks like,” adds LILY frontman, Joshua Bulot.
To accompany the track’s release, an accompanying visualizer will premiere exclusively on the band’s YouTube channel on November 26, 2025 (Wednesday) at 6 PM.
“OSA” is LILY’s second single of the year, following their track “Kinakabahan,” which was released earlier this year in April. Following the track’s viral reception on platforms like Spotify and TikTok, a cinematic music video was released in September, featuring Pinoy Big Brother alumni Dustin Yu and Bianca De Vera.
