Lana Del Rey is back with a new single, titled “Henry, come on.”
The newly released track (presumably) serves as the first teaser off her upcoming album, The right person will stay, which is scheduled to be released this May 21, 2025. Co-written by Del Rey and Luke Laird, and co-produced with Drew Erickson, “Henry, come on” is a wistfully romantic piece, somewhat country-inspired but driven by piano and strings and wrapped in an enchanting, siren-like allure that’s signature to the pop star’s craft.
Del Rey first confirmed plans for this new album back in November of last year, writing, “so grateful that my 13 tracks came together with my beautiful work between Luke, Jack, Zach and Drew Erickson amongst others. Happy for you to hear a few songs coming up before Stagecoach. Starting with Henry.”
Del Rey’s The right person will stay will be her tenth studio album, following 2023’s Grammy-nominated Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. The album features collaborations with Jon Batiste, Bleachers, and Father John Misty, among others, and received critical and commercial acclaim worldwide, peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 upon its release.
