Little monsters, rejoice!

The one and only Mother Monster, Lady Gaga, is making a grand comeback this year with the release of her highly anticipated seventh studio album, titled Mayhem.

The news was officially shared on Gaga’s official social media platforms via a dark, glitchy, and maximalist visualizer which stated the album’s official release date of March 7, 2025, on all available platforms. The upcoming fourteen-track album, formerly alluded to as LG7, is set to include the chart-topping collaboration “Die With A Smile” featuring Bruno Mars, as well as the techno-heavy lead single “Disease.”

According to an official press release, Gaga described this album as a project that “started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music my earliest fans loved” — even likening the project to the process of “reassembling a shattered mirror: Even if you can’t put the pieces back together perfectly, you can create something beautiful and whole in its own new way.”

Mayhem is executive-produced by Gaga herself, alongside Michael Polansky and Andrew Watt (Justin Bieber, Post Malone, Demi Lovato), with individual producers including Watt, Cirkut (Jungkook, Miley Cyrus, The Weeknd, Katy Perry), and French DJ-musician Gesaffelstein (The Weeknd, Daft Punk, Charli XCX).

Just recently, Gaga was announced to be the headliner for this year’s iteration of the Coachella Valley Arts and Music Festival, wherein she will be performing alongside the likes of Green Day, Post Malone, Charli XCX, Missy Elliot, Megan Thee Stallion, LISA, JENNIE, Zedd, Benson Boone, and a whole lot more. She also released what she described as LG6.5 with the standards album Harlequin in support of her participation in the movie musical Joker: Folie À Deux, which features a mix of covers and original compositions.
