Lovers, rejoice!

Kylie Minogue is making a grand return to the Philippines after more than a decade.

The Australian pop icon has just announced that she will be bringing the music and magic of Tension to the country as part of the Asia leg of her forthcoming world tour. As shared by Live Nation Philippines, Minogue’s long-awaited return to Manila is scheduled to take place next March 17, 2025 (Monday). Further details regarding the time and venue are expected to announced soon.

Aside from the Philippines, Kylie Minogue is set to bring the Tension World Tour across Australia, Scotland, the United Kingdom, and the rest of Asia throughout the first two quarters of 2025. Check out the full list of shows from the tour that have been announced so far below:

Alongside the major tour announcement, Minogue also shared the release of her upcoming seventeenth studio album, Tension II. The record is set to feature 13 brand-new tracks, including the highly anticipated lead single “Lights, Camera, Action” which is scheduled to drop later this September 27, 2024.

“I am beyond excited to announce the Tension Tour 2025,” she says in a statement. “I can’t wait to share beautiful and wild moments with fans all over the world, celebrating the Tension era and more! It’s been an exhilarating ride so far and now, get ready for your close up because I will be calling Lights, Camera, Action … and there will be a whole lot of Padaming!”

Minogue was here in the Philippines last 2011 for her Aphrodite World Tour, wherein she performed a sold-out show at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. Earlier this year, Minogue won the Grammy for Best Pop Dance Recording for the viral chart-breaking hit, “Padam Padam” at the 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards –– which followed closely after the release of her critically and commercially acclaimed 2023 album, Tension.
