Kevin Jonas of the Jonas Brothers has released his first single, “Changing,” marking his official debut as a solo artist after years of performing exclusively with his brothers, Nick and Joe.
The announcement follows a key storyline in the group’s Disney+ musical comedy, A Very Jonas Christmas Movie, in which Kevin opens up to his brothers about his long-held desire to take lead vocals on a song. The film premiered on the streaming platform on November 14, 2025, and follows the boys as they race against time on a journey from London to New York to reunite with their families and loved ones for the holidays.
Kevin says the track reflects personal growth. “Life keeps changing, and the song is a positive reinforcement of that idea,” he shares. “You need to know when to move on to the next thing, and you also need to keep moving, no matter what the situation or relationship is.”
Kevin debuted the song live during the Jonas Brothers’ ‘Greetings From Your Hometown’ tour on August 23, 2025, in Boston. The group is wrapping up its massive 20th anniversary tour, which will conclude this December. They will also perform a New Year’s Eve concert at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.
Kevin is the last brother to release a solo effort. Nick formed a side project called Nick Jonas & the Administration and released their album Who I Am in 2010, then relaunched his solo career after the band broke up in 2013, releasing hits like “Jealous.” Joe, on the other hand, released his first solo album, Fastlife, in 2011 and later formed the dance-rock band DNCE in 2015.
