Laufey has unveiled the full stacked cast for the upcoming music video for her single “Madwoman,” featuring Megan Skiendiel of KATSEYE, Alysa Liu, Lola Tung, and Hudson Williams.

The music video is part of the rollout for the deluxe edition of her 2025 Grammy Award-winning album A Matter of Time, expanding the original record with four new tracks. Laufey previously shared the news on February 23 with the release of the first additional track, “How I Get.”

With a post on April 8 that took fans by surprise, the singer first revealed global girl group member Megan Skiendiel and Olympic figure skater Alysa Liu with Polaroid photos shared on her social media. In the caption, the artist wrote, “who do you think is next?…..,” which prompted widespread speculation of a second set of features from the public.

News of the collaboration came with TikTok videos referencing moments from recent pop culture, including Laufey previously being mistaken for Megan at the Golden Globe Awards, as well as Liu’s performance of “Stateside” by PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson at the Winter Olympic Gala.

Shortly after came the announcement of The Summer I Turned Pretty star Lola Tung and Heated Rivalry actor Hudson Williams, building anticipation for the project ahead of its April 13 release. Fans responded enthusiastically across social media, noting the cast’s shared mixed East Asian-Western (“Wasian”) representation, alongside their cross-industry mix of music, film, and sports talent.

The deluxe album A Matter of Time: The Final Hour is out now and available to stream ahead of the “Madwoman” music video release.
