KATSEYE have just announced the release of a remix to their chart-breaking single “Touch” with TOMORROW X TOGETHER‘s Yeonjun.
The rising girl group shared the news on their official social media platforms, wherein they first clued their followers in on the forthcoming remix with a renowned K-pop icon. With their EYEKONS sharing their guesses in the comments, the group then officially announced that it would be Yeonjun of TXT who would be joining them on the track. The newly shared cover art to the track takes a unique spin on the original artwork, including porcelain dolls representing each member of the group act and a new doll representing the TXT soloist in the center.
In a statement posted to WeVerse, KATSEYE shared that Yeonjun wrote his very own verse for his part of the track. “His lyrics add a unique touch to the overall feel of the track. We hope you enjoy this special remake,” the group mentioned.

This version of “Touch” is scheduled to be released later this October 10, 2024 (Friday) at 12 PM (PHST)/12 AM (EST) –– marking another entry into KATSEYE’s impressive discography. In other news, the original rendition of the track continues to make its way up several global charts, including the Billboard Philippines‘ Hot 100 –– wherein it has reached a new peak position of No. 14 after spending eight weeks on the chart in this week’s updated rankings (dated October 12, 2024.)
“Touch” is just one of the five tracks on KATSEYE’s debut extended-play, titled SIS (Soft Is Strong). In an exclusive interview with Billboard Philippines, the multinational hitmakers shared that the whole concept and the title of the EP reflect their identity as female musicians on the scene. “Having the theme ‘Soft is Strong’ really shows our duality – both as artists and as a group. Because strangely enough, we realized that to even be vulnerable takes a pretty big amount of strength to do so,” leader Sophia Laforteza mentioned.
Just recently, the group visited the Philippines for the first time as part of their promotional tour across Asia –– wherein they performed at Market Market in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig for a jam-packed indoor concert. During their visit, they also held a special press conference in which they talked to select media outlets about their stay in the country, their shared dreams, and what lies ahead for their music in the future.
