Jolianne and Arthur Nery have joined forces for a brand new single, entitled “Palayo Sa Mundo.”
The two Filipino R&B singer-songwriters officially announced the news on October 7, 2025 (Tuesday), revealing that the song would come out on October 10, 2025 (Friday).
In an official press release, the themes of the new song were revealed: “At its core, ‘Palayo Sa Mundo’ is an ode to intimacy and the stillness of genuine love — the kind that doesn’t demand permanence but celebrates presence. It reminds listeners that love, even when uncertain, can be a space of peace and comfort that makes the rest of the world fade away.”
Furthermore, Jolianne shares an official statement: “This song is about the rare calm that love can bring — when everything else around you feels too loud, but with the right person, everything quiets down.”
Notably, Jolianne and Arthur Nery have already collaborated before on a song, entitled “Lullaby.” It served as the fourth track on Arthur Nery’s sophomore album II: The second, which came out on September 28, 2024.
For Jolianne, “Palayo Sa Mundo” follows her previous collaboration single “Kuryente” with Ziv, as well as her single “Favorite Friend” and her debut EP Plain Girl. Meanwhile, for Arthur Nery, this is his third release of the year, following his team-up with rapper Loonie on “Palaisipan” and his single “Ayaw Baya.”
In other news, Arthur Nery is one of the nominees for ‘R&B Song of the Year’ at the first ever Filipino Music Awards. The awards show is set to happen on October 21, 2025 (Tuesday) at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Find out more about the nominees here.
