JENNIE has just announced her highly anticipated debut album, titled RUBY.

The upcoming record was first announced on the 29-year-old K-pop superstar’s official social media platforms, as she released a first look at the album’s cover artwork alongside a caption stating a release date of March 7, 2025 on all digital and streaming platforms.

Together with the cover reveal, another brief visualizer was shared on her page, showcasing JENNIE embracing a variety of alter egos with fiery ruby red hair, as text listed down the artists who are set to be featured on the record. Such artists mentioned included British pop juggernaut Dua Lipa, rap phenomenons Childish Gambino and Doechii, R&B songstress Kali Uchis, French multi-instrumentalist FKJ, and Filipino-Haitian singer-songwriter Dominic Fike.

RUBY marks the first-ever studio album from JENNIE, following the release of her solo singles “Solo,” “You & Me,” and the recently released “Mantra.” The latter made its debut on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart at the No. 5 spot last October and even reached a peak position at No. 3 a few weeks later. Also recently, JENNIE also collaborated with artists like ZICO, Matt Champion, and The Weeknd on the singles “SPOT!”, “Slow Motion” and “One of Your Girls,” with the latter currently charting at No. 68 on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 (dated January 18, 2025) as well.

Together with her fellow BLACKPINK members LISA, JISOO, and ROSÉ (all of whom have also recently released or announced new solo projects), the group is set to reunite later this year for a major comeback and an upcoming world tour under YG Entertainment.
