Jaya is coming back home to the Philippines to hold a special concert next month.
The news was announced on August 1, 2025 (Friday) via the OPM icon’s social media. “The long wait is over. She is coming home,” stated the announcement. “Set to deliver yet another timeless music experience on her homecoming, the country’s Queen of Soul Jaya is taking us to nostalgia with her greatest hits in one extraordinary night.”
Directed by John Prats, the upcoming show from the “If You Leave Me Now” hitmaker is set to happen on September 14, 2025 (Sunday) at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. Tickets to the show are priced from PHP 2,500 to PHP 5,500 and are now available via TicketNet.
Active in music for close to four decades now, Jaya is recognized as the Philippines’ “Queen of Soul,” finding major success both locally and internationally. Notably, she had her start in the United States music scene before starting her career in the Philippines in the 1990s after being discovered by Asia’s Queen of Songs, Pilita Corrales. Since 2021, Jaya has resided in the United States with her family, making her upcoming concert a highly anticipated one.
Jaya has released a total of 12 studio albums, with her latest one being Queen Of Soul, which came out on March 22, 2019. Her latest release is a cover of “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” with Filipino-American singer-actor Garth Garcia.
