Janine Teñoso — or simply, Janine — is officially staging her first major solo show later this year. The news was announced by Viva Records on May 17, 2025 (Saturday), revealing that the concert is set to happen at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City on September 6, 2025.
“The wait is over! One of the Philippines’ most streamed female artists takes the stage in a spectacular solo concert featuring hit collaborations, renditions and originals!” stated the record label in its announcement post.
Tickets to the show are priced from PHP 800 to PHP 3,850. VIP tickets include access to soundcheck, while SVIP tickets include the same, alongside a group photo opportunity with Teñoso. The ticket-selling period starts June 1, 2025 (Sunday) at 2:00 PM (PHT) via TicketNet.
Ahead of the concert’s announcement, Teñoso released her latest single “Pikit Mata” — a song exploring “the moments when feelings are too overwhelming to confront head-on” — on May 16. In addition, she also premiered a music video for it, which stars her alongside rising actor Rabin Angeles. Watch it below:
In other news, Teñoso took part in the special covers EP SWABE alongside fellow Viva Records artists Earl Agustin, Amiel Sol, rhodessa, Rob Deniel, and Shanne Dandan. As part of the record, she performed a rendition of South Border’s “Love Of My Life,” originally from the pop/R&B band’s self-titled debut album, released in 1996.
