Jamie xx is bringing his musical talents to the Philippines this upcoming November.
The renowned electronic musician announced his forthcoming Philippine appearance as part of his In Waves World Tour — with his Manila show kicking off the entirety of his international leg of shows. The show is scheduled to take place this November 19, 2024, at the Filinvest Tent in Alabang.
Just recently, Jamie xx dropped his third studio album of the same name, In Waves, last September 20 — which included the singles “Baddy On The Floor” with Honey Dijon, “Life” featuring Robyn, and “Waited All Night” with his former The xx bandmates, Romy and Oliver Sim. Upon release, the record was met with universal acclaim from critics and audiences alike, who praised the album for its well-polished production and its vibrant, genre-spanning collection of tracks. It also marked the long-awaited follow-up to his well-received sophomore album, In Colour, which spawned the smash hit track, “Loud Places” which also featured Romy.
Tickets are expected to be made for sale tomorrow (October 3, 2024) at 12 PM via Jamie xx’s artist pre-sale access and at 2 PM for Spotify’s pre-sale access. General on sale is scheduled to take place later this October 4, 2024, at 12 PM through here.
